Bacon, Mac & Cheeseburger: The economy is going south and all of us want to indulge ourselves in comfort food. Noodles and Company has taken a favorite American comfort food i.e. the bacon cheeseburger, tweaked it and come up with a great tasting dish called Bacon, Mac & Cheeseburger. The dish includes high-end ingredients such as crumbled oven-roasted meatballs, diced Roma tomatoes, crispy chopped bacon and chopped green onions that is mixed into the famous Mac & Cheese and then topped with cheddar-jack cheese and house-made toasted breadcrumbs.

Truffle Mac with Baby Portabellas: With the rising popularity of Mac and Cheese dishes at Noodles and Company, many restaurants have started serving these dishes. Noodles and Company has gone one up on all its rivals and offers Truffle Mac with Baby Portabellas, at nearly one-third the price. This dish is made with sautéed baby portabella mushrooms, the signature Wisconsin cheese sauce spiked with white truffle oil and topped off with shredded parmesan cheese, parsley and house-made toasted breadcrumbs.

Southwestern Chili Mac: If you want to give your taste buds a big treat then the Southwestern Chili Mac, is what you deserve. This culinary fiesta begins with Mac & Cheese that is smothered in spicy red chili, crumbled oven-roasted meatballs and then topped with shredded cheddar-jack cheese and diced green onion.

In case, you wish to try out your hand at making the delicious Noodles and Company’s Mac and Cheese at home, then you may follow the recipe given below.

The ingredients include:

  • 1 lb. macaroni
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

Read the instructions on the package and cook the macaroni as instructed

Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Then stir the flour till it has completely mixed with the melted butter. Stir in the milk at a slow pace till the mixture is thickened. Add salt and turn off the stove. Add monterey jack cheese and stir it till it melts. This is how the sauce is made.

You can then take as much sauce as desired in a bowl and add pasta to it. This should then be topped with shredded cheddar cheese. It is imperative that you do not use too much sauce else it will overwhelm the flavor of pasta.
